CATHERINE CORTEZ MASTO

U.S. Senate, Nevada

Serving for eight years as her state’s attorney general, she worked to keep Nevada communities safe, strengthening state laws to prevent domestic violence, sex trafficking, and protecting middleclass families from fraudulent mortgage schemes and predatory lenders. CORTEZ MASTO is the anointed choice of retiring Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid. When Catherine is elected, she’ll be the first woman Nevada has ever elected to the Senate — and the first Latina senator in U.S. history.
